My study is entitled "social stigma and self-stigma towards and among mothers coping with serious mental illness in the ultra-orthodox Jewish society" . The study examines variables that may influence the level of stigma: Motherhood of women with mental illness, psychological flexibility, parenthood of the observer and cultural context. In addition, the study attempts to understand qualitatively the perception of self-stigma, social support and a sense of parental self-efficay among ultra orthodox mothers who cope with mental illness.
