My research examines the experience of adult cancer survivors, who despite the social expectation to return to full function with recovery, are still experiencing emotional distress that makes it difficult for them to do so. The study focuses on the fear of cancer recurrence, and explores personality traits that may constitute risk factors for its development, alongside variables that may affect psychological resilience while coping with it.
